Builtstraight vs SiteDocs

What SiteDocs is.

SiteDocs is safety documentation software: unlimited forms and signatures, worker profiles and certification tracking, and a contractor management module. It sells an annual subscription based on company size and publishes no price; its pricing page says "an initial call is required to provide a custom price quote tailored to your company's size and needs". It sells into the UK and lists a UK sales number.

Where they overlap, and where they do not.

Both hold documents that prove work was done safely and correctly. SiteDocs is built around the form: the induction, the toolbox talk, the inspection, signed by a worker. Builtstraight is built around the plot and its stages: the programme, the photos and the certificates that prove one trade's work, tied to what that stage is worth. Builtstraight holds the certificates you require on a stage, and forms with a signature, including the weekly scaffold inspection. If safety paperwork across a whole workforce is your problem, that is SiteDocs' problem to solve, not ours.

What Builtstraight is.

A construction management platform for the builder running the plots. Each stage carries what was agreed, the evidence you want back and what it is worth, all set before the work starts, and the plot carries the programme, the documents, the safety forms and the record. Sign-off closes a stage.

Choose SiteDocs if.

Your problem is the safety file: inductions, toolbox talks and certifications across a workforce, with an auditor to satisfy. SiteDocs does that job properly and Builtstraight does not pretend to. Take Builtstraight if your problem is the plots: the programme, the trades on each stage and the evidence that each one was built as agreed.
