The evidence exists. It is on everybody's phone.

Your site managers take the photos. They are in camera rolls, in WhatsApp, in an email somebody forwarded. When a stage is queried six months later, somebody spends a day looking for a photograph that may not exist. The work was done properly. Proving it costs you more than the query is worth.

Many sites, one shape.

Every plot is set up the same way: stages by trade, each with a scope, a shot list, the certificates you require and a price. The trade presets give your managers a starting point so a stage set up on one site looks like the same stage set up on another. Proof means the same thing on every site, whoever set the job up, and every photo is checked the same way as it arrives, so work that looks poorly finished is flagged whichever manager reviews it.

Your managers, on your account.

Invite site managers to the firm and they work across every plot: create plots, set up stages, invite subcontractors, publish. An owner keeps what only an owner should do. Managers run the work; the owner runs the account. Team members are counted by plan, not charged one seat at a time, and subcontractors are never counted at all.

Evidence that stands up later.

Audit log
Every state change is written to an append-only audit log. Rows cannot be edited or deleted, including by us.
Evidence pack
Photos and documents are stored exactly as they arrived, with a hash of each file taken on receipt, and every approved stage produces an evidence pack, a PDF holding the photos, the hashes, the timestamps and the approval.

What it does not try to be.

  • Builtstraight is not a common data environment and it holds no drawings or models.
  • It is not accounting software and it moves no money.
  • It is not an estimating or take-off package.
  • It runs the plots, the programme, the trades, the evidence, the documents and the safety file.
  • If you already run your drawings and your accounts somewhere else, keep them.

Put one site on it.

Set up a plot, publish a few stages and see what comes back before you commit anything.
